GUDEA, the AI-powered narrative intelligence company, has unveiled The ABCs of Influence, a new behavioral analytics feature that classifies audience behavior to show who (and how) users shape online narratives in real time.

The new capability expands GUDEA’s core analytics engine beyond content analysis to reveal the behavioral patterns behind influence. By classifying audience engagement across five archetypes, The ABCs of Influence helps organizations distinguish authentic participation from coordinated campaigns and identify early signs of narrative shifts.

“Our goal isn’t to label users, but to understand how behavioral patterns shape the stories we see online,” said Keith Presley, founder and CEO of GUDEA. “The ABCs of Influence help our clients separate organic engagement from coordinated activity and act on emerging narratives before they go viral.”

Built on GUDEA’s proprietary User Behavior Metrics framework, the feature analyzes signals such as timing, peer interaction, and language to categorize user influence types—like Power Players, Facilitators, and Typical Users. Clients can visualize how ideas spread through digital ecosystems and track the velocity of narratives as they form.

The technology evolved from an internal analytics project known as SpyGlass, developed by GUDEA’s data science team to identify anomalies in online discourse. Over time, it became a real-time behavioral intelligence system capable of mapping influence networks with precision and speed.

“With the ABCs, our clients can finally see how online narrative moves, not just what’s trending,” Presley added. “That visibility is a game-changer for brand protection, policy communications, and reputation management.”

Unlike platforms focused solely on identifying fake or automated accounts, GUDEA’s system processes behavioral data in near-real time, delivering insights within seconds.

The new feature is now available through GUDEA’s platform, allowing users to visualize audience archetypes and influence patterns instantly.
